Information We Do Not Collect
DropMe is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or share:
- The files you transfer
- Your encryption keys
- Your personal identity, name, or email address

- Any metadata about transferred files (names, sizes, or types)
How File Transfers Work
All file transfers take place directly between the devices involved in the session. Files are encrypted on your device before transmission using the shared encryption key you provide. No file content or encryption key is ever sent to or stored on our servers.
Once a transfer session ends, no data is retained by the application.
Encryption & Security
DropMe uses strong symmetric encryption to protect your files in transit. The shared encryption key is known only to the participants in the transfer session and is never transmitted to or stored by DropMe. You are responsible for sharing the encryption key securely with the intended recipient.
Third-Party Services
DropMe does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. If future versions of the app include optional third-party integrations (for example, for signalling or relay services), this policy will be updated accordingly, and you will be informed before any such service is used.
Children's Privacy
DropMe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has used DropMe in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us using the details below.
